Weekly Challenge 4
The weather is great, and more birds are returning or migrating through the valley. It’s a good time to bird local eBird hotspots, especially in the Important Bird Areas (IBAs). There are hotspots throughout the valley; bird in a familiar location or try a new one! Post your eBird or traditional checklist—you may inspire others to visit that site.
Not sure where eBird hotspots are? Check out the Bird Watching page on our website. You can find hotspot locations and even checklists to help you get started!! Or use the Explore Hotspots page on eBird!

From Micki:
A bonus challenge is to learn a new bird. I did not start birding seriously until I was in my 50s, so birding-by-ear is a challenge for me. By the end of the week, I hope to be able to share the new bird I can ID by ear with you all—wish me luck!
